A proud 1992 graduate of Clemson University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Tom began his career focused on elevating residential construction through technical rigor and architectural collaboration. In 2003, he founded Dillard-Jones Builders with a vision to raise the standard of custom homebuilding across the Southeast. This vision has since expanded into Luxe Brands Collective, a strategically integrated portfolio of companies serving the luxury residential market across South Carolina and Western North Carolina.

Beyond business achievements, Tom’s influence extends into philanthropy and conservation. In 2023, the Dillard Family Foundation was established to formalize decades of community involvement focused on education, accessibility, and faith-based initiatives. The foundation supports organizations such as Connie Maxwell Children’s Ministries and reflects a multigenerational commitment to service, with active involvement from his wife, Deana, and their children.
Tom is also a dedicated conservationist and land steward. Dillard Farm in Gray Court, South Carolina, encompasses approximately 450 acres managed for sustainable forestry, wildlife preservation, and agricultural stewardship. A second property in Kentucky, spanning more than 700 acres, continues this commitment to long-term conservation and responsible land management.
