Built From the Ground Up
Design has always been in Susan Peace-Vernon’s dna. With five generations of homebuilding behind her, she didn’t just enter this industry, she was raised inside of it. That foundation gave her something most designers spend years trying to develop: an instinctive understanding of how a space is built, not just how it looks. It’s the kind of knowledge that changes everything, from how she reads a floor plan to how she guides a client through a decision that will shape the way they live in it.
After earning her ASID certification and building her expertise across new construction, complete remodels, plus the full arc of furnishing and finishing a home, Susan founded Tribus in 2017 with a clear purpose: to offer clients a seamless, all-inclusive collaborative experience from the first sketch to the final touch, no fragmenting the process across multiple contractors, no loss of continuity, no compromising the outcome along the way.
Collaboration as a Design Philosophy
What grew from that is a boutique firm with an unmistakable character. Led by Susan and a team of certified designers their collaborative mindset approach gives them an advantage to all other designers for every project. They sit down with clients. They ask questions. They listen for the things people don’t always know how to say out loud: how they move through a space, what they want to feel when they walk in the door, what their home or office needs to do for them beyond looking beautiful.
